If you are an overseas visitor you MUST have a valid NZ Work Visa. Australian citizens are able to work in NZ without a work permit. Please do not contact advertisers unless you have a Work Visa. There are a number of Working Holiday schemes that are very flexible and allow you to work for different employers anywhere in New Zealand.

Supplementary Seasonal Employment Policy (SSE)

This permit allows people currently in New Zealand to work for approved employers.

Working Holiday Scheme (WHS)

This permit allows a number of people from certain countries aged between 18 and 30 to come to New Zealand to undertake temporary work.

Working Holidaymaker Extension

This is a permit people currently holding working holiday permits can apply for at the end of their stay if they have undertaken three months of seasonal work in the horticulture or viticulture industry during their working holiday.

Variations of Conditions

This permit allows visitors in New Zealand undertake seasonal work for a short period in regions where a shortage of seasonal labour has been declared.
